What tools do I need to make the Miami Vice?

You really don’t need much in order to make this cocktail which makes it perfect for any party or large gathering when you want to whip them up in minutes.

The only tool you’ll need to make this cocktail:

A bender is necessary to make both the red and white layers of this cocktail. I use the Hamilton Beach blender that I got off Amazon. It wasn’t expensive at all and it does the job perfectly.

Remember you can make each drink beforehand. Just place them in the freezer for safe keeping until needed.

How To Make The Miami Vice Drink

Step 1: Make the white part of the drink

In a blender, blend together the pineapple juice, white rum, 1 cup of ice and the cream of coconut together.  Once blended, pour into another container and place in the freezer.

Step 2: Make the red part of the drink

Clean the blender and then add, dark rum, strawberries, lime juice, simple syrup and 1 cup of ice.  Once blended, pour into another container and place in the freezer.
