Irish Mule Recipe

This Irish Mule recipe is refreshing and delicious to drink at any time of year but extra special for St Patrick’s Day.
St. Patrick’s Day calls for something festive, refreshing, and just a little cheeky, and the Irish Mule delivers on all counts.
This emerald-hued cocktail puts a spirited Irish twist on a modern classic, swapping vodka for smooth Irish whiskey and adding a splash of green for holiday flair.

Bright lime juice keeps it zippy, ginger beer adds a spicy kick, and the whiskey brings warmth and character.

Served ice-cold in a copper mug, it’s easy to make, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for toasting good friends, good luck, and all things Irish.

HOW DO YOU MAKE AN IRISH MULE?

A classic Moscow Mule is a simple, refreshing cocktail traditionally made with vodka, fresh lime juice, and ginger beer.

It’s famously served over ice in a copper mug, which helps keep the drink extra cold and enhances the crisp, spicy flavors.

Created in the 1940s, the Moscow Mule became popular for its bright citrus bite, fizzy ginger kick, and easy drinkability.

It’s a three-ingredient classic that’s endlessly adaptable—making it the perfect base for fun twists like the Irish Mule.
