Pear Mimosa: Fall Mimosa Recipe
You are probably familiar with the classic mimosa recipe, but for fall, it makes sense to move away from orange juice and onto something even more delicious and autumn-like – an apple cider mimosa.
Mimosas are always popular for brunch or holiday events and of course, apple cider is the signature drink of the fall season.
Put Champagne and apple cider together and you get a delicious bubbly cocktail
There are lots of variations of the classic mimosa including the Poinsettia Cocktail and even a Peppermint bark Mimosa which is perfect for the holidays.
The apple cider mimosa is another great holiday cocktail that makes a change from other apple cider drinks such as the Apple Cider Moscow Mule.
Apple Cider Mimosa Recipe
To be honest, I wasn’t sure I would like an apple cider mimosa. While I love sparkling wine and I really like apple cider in the fall months, putting the two together seemed like a strange combination.
However, I was more than pleasantly surprised at how delicious this apple cider cocktail is and it is really perfect for serving at a fall wedding or Friendsgiving brunch.
This tasty cocktail is:
- Fantastic for a holiday brunch
- The perfect fall cocktail
- Great for showers and daytime parties
- Easy to make
What Is In An Apple cider Mimosa?
You don’t need anything too complicated to make this fall mimosa cocktail. No special equipment is necessary and all you need is a Champagne flute or coupe.
Here’s what goes in an Apple Cider Mimosa Cocktail:
Prosecco or similar sparkling Wine
I normally use either Cava or Prosecco in my mimosas. These cocktails are one place where you don’t need to buy the most expensive liquor in order to make a great tasting drink.
If you want to use Champagne, then you can but if the budget won’t stretch to it, Cava or Prosecco is perfect for that.
You can buy a great bottle for under $20.
Apple Cider
During the fall months, you can buy fresh apple cider from farms and orchards but even during the year, you should be able to find it in grocery stores.
I use the unsweetened apple cider variety in my mimosas.
Fresh Apple Slices
Any kind of apple is perfect for a great garnish on your apple cider cocktail.

- Top with apple cider
