How To Make A Grapefruit Martini with Vodka

If you are a fan of the tart taste of grapefruit, you will love this simple to make martini. It is packed with vitamin C so you can imbibe guilt free.

In my experience drinking a glass of grapefruit juice before you go to bed can stave off a hangover so why not drink your grapefruit juice with your vodka?

This recipe couldn’t be simpler, all you have to do is mix together the ingredients in a shaker with ice and pour into chilled martini glasses.

If you want to make it extra special, add an olive or mint leaf as garnish – trust us, they’ll love it!

To make this popular drink at home, you’ll need:

  • Vodka
  • Grapefruit Juice
  • Lime Juice

You can use either gin or vodka as your alcohol to the grapefruit martini recipe although purists will use vodka.

If you want to be extra fancy, you can create a salt rim on your glass by dipping it in lime juice then twisting it around a saucer of salt.

Grapefruit Vodka Martini – Variations

The Grapefruit Vodka Martini is one of my favorite cocktails, especially in the summertime. But I love it all year long because it’s so easy to make and just tastes delicious!

If you are looking for a pink cocktail for a special occasion then you can use pink grapefruit juice instead of regular white juice.

Pink grapefruit is slightly sweeter than white grapefruit plus it is packed with the phytonutrient, lycopene, which is a powerful cancer fighter.

Pink Paloma Cocktail – This delicious tequila cocktail is just the right combination of tart and sweet.

Megmosa Cocktail – This grapefruit mimosa is perfect for a summer celebration.
