These fun jello shots are perfect for your next party.

You can whip up a batch very quickly and serve them to a crowd. 

The ingredients below make around 20 jello shots and you can easily double or triple the recipe if you need more. 

Ingredients:

  •  Guinness
  •  Kahlua
  • Hot water
  • Unflavored gelatin (about 5 teaspoons)
  • Whipped cream vodka

How To Make Guinness Jello Shots

Enjoy these fun and flavorful Guinness jello shots at your next gathering and toast to good times and great company!

Prepare the Gelatin:

Add some of the water to a saucepan, then bring to a boil.

Sprinkle 4 packets of unflavored gelatin over the water and let it sit for about 2 minutes to bloom (soften).

Dissolve the Gelatin:

Stir until the gelatin is dissolved. 

Remove from heat.

Combine Ingredients:

Slowly pour the Guinness with the bloomed gelatin, stirring constantly. 

Pour into glasses:

Carefully pour the mixture into shot glasses or silicone molds.

Transfer to the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

The Topping:

No glass of Guinness is complete without the perfect head to your beer! 
To make this, you need to boil the remaining water.  
Next add in your last gelatin package, whipped cream vodka and the Kahlua. 

Whisk until smooth and then slowly top each jello shot with the mixture. 
Make sure to pour slowly to avoid too many bubbles. 

Tips:

  • Chilling Time: Make sure to prepare these well in advance to allow ample time for the jello shots to set.

  • 2 cups Guinness
  • 1/4 cup of Kahlua
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 5 envelopes unflavored gelatin (about 5 teaspoons)
  • 1/4 cup Whipped cream vodka

Instructions

  1. Bloom Gelatin: Sprinkle 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water in a mixing bowl and let sit for 2 minutes.
  2. Slowly add the Guinness into the gelatin
  3. Pour into Molds: Pour the mixture into shot glasses or silicone molds. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  4. Next add in your last gelatin package, whipped cream vodka and the Kahlua. Whisk until smooth and then slowly top each jello shot with the mixture. 
  5. Serve Immediately.
