Blood Champagne Shots
Nothing says Halloween like a creepy cocktail and these Vampire Kiss shots are an easy-to-make alternative to a classic such as the Wicked Witch cocktail.
You can make these fun shots in a minute and go all out with plastic syringes or use classic shot glasses – either way, they are sure to be a hit during spooky season!
The nice about these Halloween shots is that you can make a whole batch of them in minutes and they only need a couple of ingredients – the perfect party drink!

Vampire Kiss Shot Ingredients
It doesn’t get much easier than these fun shots!
All you need are two simple ingredients and you have the perfect creepy drink to serve your guests.
For these Vampire Kiss shots, you just need:
- Champagne
- Cranberry Juice
- Plastic Syringes
When it comes to Champagne, bear in mind that it will be the main flavor of your shots so get the best bottle your budget can afford.
That being said, you don’t need to splash out on a fancy bottle of Champagne to make these delicious shots.
If you are budget-conscious, consider choosing a good bottle of Prosecco or Cava instead. I normally get the Freixenet Cava which is a Spanish sparkling wine.
Remember that only wine made in the Champagne region of France can be called Champagne so buying sparking wine from other countries often gets you a great drink without the pricetag.
How To Make Blood Champagne Shots
Fill champagne flutes with champagne 3/4 of the way full.
Insert the syringes into the cranberry juice and pull the cap until each one is filled.
Place in the Champagne flutes.
Squirt the cranberry juice into the champagne before drinking.
How To Serve Your Vampire Kiss Shots
If you do fancy making it a bit special for your next Halloween party, here are some more ideas:
- Use plastic spiders or candy eyeballs for a fun and spooky garnish
- Hang plastic vampire teeth from the edge of your glass
- Rim the glass with red sugar sprinkles – dip it first in lime juice and then in a shallow bowl of red sanding sugar. Set aside to dry.
