Spooky Halloween Milkshake

If you love the Addams Family’s Wednesday, then you will love this fun milkshake inspired by the character.

It is easy to make and tastes great – despite the ghoulish look!

 Serve your guests this delicious yet creepy milkshake recipe at your next Halloween party. 

You can easily make this a mocktail milkshake so it is perfect for serving to all the little goblins and ghouls at your event. 

Ingredients needed: 

These are the simple ingredients you need for this yummy Halloween milkshake recipe.

• 4 scoops chocolate ice cream
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 oz White Rum or vodka
• 3 drops black food gel

Garnish:

• Whipped cream
• Black Sprinkles

You’ll need a blender to make this frothy treat. I personally use the Margaritaville blender for all my cocktails but a smoothie blender will also work fine. 

I also used these cute black and white straws for my milkshake. 

How To Make This Halloween Milkshake

 
 

 These shakes are perfect for a Halloween party or to just enjoy on your own.

Here’s how to make a spooky Halloween milkshake.

Mix your ingredients: In a blender, add in chocolate ice cream, black food gel, rum and milk. Blend well.

 

Make your drink:  Pour into a glass

Garnish: Top with whipped topping and black sprinkles. Place a black and white striped straw into the glass.

Serve cold!

Recipe variations:

To make this a mocktail, just omit the rum when you are adding the ingredients to the blender.

Can I use other liquors besides rum?

Absolutely. Some of the other ideas that are popular choices include vodka and rum.

You can even use chocolate schnapps in this drink to enhance the flavor of the chocolate ice cream. 

 Amaretto, which tastes like sweet almonds will also work really well. 

Can I make these without alcohol?

Yes, just omit the rum when following the directions.

You will have a delicious non-alcoholic milkshake that everyone can enjoy.

• Use slightly thawed ice cream to make it easier to blend into your milkshake. 
• In fact, you can use regular vodka (plain vodka) or chocolate or vanilla vodka in this recipe instead of rum. 
• Serve immediately once you have topped the milkshake with the whipped cream
