What is in a Scooby Doo Shot? 

Unlike many shots, there are quite a lot of ingredients in the Scooby Snack Shot.

You will need:

• Coconut Rum
• Melon Liqueur
• Banana Liqueur  or Creme de Bananes
• Pineapple Juice
• Whipped Cream

What Tools Do You Need To Make The Scooby Snack Shot?

You really don’t need much in order to make this shot which makes it perfect for any party or large gathering when you want to whip them up in minutes. 

The only tool you’ll need to make this cocktail:

• A cocktail shaker 
• A strainer 

Don’t have the tools you need? 

If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, a large mason jar works just as well in a pinch.

Use the mason jar lid or a plate to strain the drink if you don’t own a strainer.

Other Versions Of The Scooby Doo Shot

There are tons of different versions of the Scooby Snack Shot, the most popular is the blue Scooby snack shot:

Switch out the melon liqueur for some Blue Curacao and you have an amazing blue version of the Scooby Doo Shot. 

You need 1/2 an ounce of each of the following:

•  Coconut Rum
• Creme De Banane
• Blue Curacao
• Pineapple Juice

Pink Scooby Snack Shot

Want a girly version of the Scooby Doo shot?

To make the pink Scooby snack shot, simply use Strawberry or Raspberry liqueur instead of the Melon.

You need 1/2 an ounce of each of the following:

• Coconut Rum
• Creme De Banane
• Strawberry Liqueur
• Pineapple Juice

Scooby Snack Shot With Baileys

• Melon Liqueur
• Pineapple Juice
• Baileys or other Irish Cream
• Coconut Rum

Scooby Snack Shot With Milk

The original Scooby Snack shot actually contained goat’s milk and the lactose friendly version is still pretty popular in some circles. 

To make the Scooby Snack shot with milk, you will need:

• 1/2 oz Coconut rum
• 1/2 oz Melon Liqueur
• 1 oz milk

Why is it called the Scooby Snack anyway?

This tropical tasting recipe might be what got its name because Shaggy and Scooby may enjoy it along with one those godawful sandwiches they put together.
