What is Strawberries & Cream Baileys?

Strawberry Shortcake Martini
Strawberries & Cream Baileys is a flavored variation of Baileys Original Irish Cream, which is a blend of Irish whiskey, cream, and cocoa.

The taste is a combination of sweet strawberries and cream with a hint of Irish whiskey.

It is a Limited edition flavor and can be found on sale in some countries during a specific time of the year.

If you can’t find Strawberries and Cream Baileys near you, you can use Tequila Rose instead.

I use Tequila Rose in my Strawberries and Cream Cocktail and it is delicious!

How To Make Strawberry Simple Syrup

While you can probably buy strawberry simple syrup, you can also make your own easily:

Here’s how to do it:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of water

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the strawberries, sugar, and water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  5. Use a fine mesh strainer to strain the mixture into a clean container, discarding the solids.
  6. Allow the syrup to cool completely, then store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Note: You can also make this syrup with frozen strawberries, but you may need to adjust the cook time to account for the extra liquid in the frozen fruit.
