How do you make Christmas Apple Cider ?
This Christmas apple cider recipe is so easy to make. You know need 3 ingredients, the main one being some good quality apple cider (I bought mine at a local apple orchard when I went for a visit).
What’s In The Christmas Apple Cider?
To make this apple cider, you just need the cider, cinnamon sticks and some whiskey.
I used Saddleback Maple Bacon Whiskey for my Christmas apple cider because it tastes amazing and smells even better. Plus – you can never go wrong with bacon, can you?
SaddleBack was first released in 2017, and is made by combining Canadian whisky along with natural maple syrup and bacon flavours.
If you don’t fancy Maple bacon whiskey, any whiskey or even Bourbon will work great and will give your apple cider a nice smokey taste.
- 2 ounces Whiskey (Bacon or regular)
- 8 oz Apple Cider
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- Apple slices and/or cinnamon stick for garnish
