What Are Honeycrisp Apples?
Honeycrisp or, as they are known in Europe, Honeycrunch apples, are sweet red apples that are becoming more and more popular. At many apple orchards they are even sold at a premium because they are so good!

- Honeycrisp apple; sliced into rounds
- Honey
- Apple flavored vodka
- 2 cups apple juice
- ice
You can use a different variety of apple if you prefer, obviously, I have chosen to use a Honeycrisp for my apple cocktail recipe.
What Can I Use Instead of Apple Vodka?
This recipe uses apple vodka which you can find in liquor stores from a number of brands. If you can’t find this vodka, you can use plain vodka with apple syrup I would use 1 tablespoons of syrup so your cocktail is not too sweet. You can buy apple syrup on Amazon or make it yourself.
How To A Make Honeycrisp Apple Cocktail
- Slice your honeycrisp apple into rounds. Place in a glass.
- In another glass, add honey, apple flavored vodka, and apple juice. Stir.
- Add ice to glass with apples. Pour in apple mixture.
- Serve!
How To Garnish Your Apple Cocktail
I added honeycrisp slices to my cocktail, similar to our Fall Apple Sangria.
If you want, you can also rim the glass with honey or dipping caramel. Simply turn your glass upside down and roll it in the honey or caramel. Set aside for a few minutes.

Can I use other liquors besides vodka?
Yes! You can use apple gin, apple tequila or even something like Captain Morgan Sliced Apple Rum.
Can I make these without alcohol?
If you want to make a non-alcoholic version of this cocktail, you can use soda water instead of vodka and add non-alcoholic apple syrup.
