What tools do I need to make a Buttery Nipple?
As this is a layered shot, you don’t need to mix anything in a cocktail shaker to make this shot recipe.
All you need is a shot glass and a steady hand to pour the drinks in order. A cocktail spoon can come in handy to help you pour the second layer into the glass smoothly.
How To Make The Buttery Nipple
Step 1:Layer the alcohol
Pour the butterscotch schnapps into a shot glass until it is half full., then pour the Baileys on top so that the two liquids do not mix.
Step 2:
Carefully pour the Bailey’s onto the butterscotch schnapps using a spoon or a cocktail spoon to keep your pour steady.
Garnish
The classic garnish for the buttery nipple is to add a quick squirt of whipped cream to the top of your shot. You can also leave it ungarnished.
